SW Spirit - Cross-Stitch

Description

I found this piece in a thrift store. In a giant ziplock baggie, there was a pattern, the fabric, floss-a-way bags with ALL needed floss, plus a couple of already threaded needles. Someone had already started the piece; the border and part of the skyline were completed. It also had a strong scent of cigarettes so it got a bath before anything. I didn't particularly love the pattern and was going to frog the whole thing and use the Aida for something else, but my mother saw it and liked the design.

I left the mystery stitcher's work as-is (even though some of the Xs were in different directions, eek). After stitching, I was glad I didn't frog it. The colors are very vibrant. It also stitched up in a surprisingly short amount of time (9 weeks) given the size and my inability to concentrate on anything for very long. This is probably because it was extremely hot at the time (great for stitching a desert scene, eh?) and I had no desire to move away from my frame.

Details: Southwest Spirit by Gloria Eriksen (Dimensions chart from 1992). Done 2 over 1 on 14-count Ivory(?) Aida. Approximately 10" x 13".

I am wondering if you would be willing to part with the pattern? I have a complete kit for another by the same artist which would make a matching set. I am not interested in finished work but would love to stitch it!. Thanks so much!
